...there is a way, says my mom. I have always been terrible with sewing. I was that problem child in school that was sent to a very old manual sewing machine because of all the nonsense I used to do. And that is why I never learnt to sew something besides a table cloth. My mom on the other hand, is a genius with the sewing machine, dresses, patchworks, you name it. She has the patience of a saint and the ability of a seamstress. I think I have so much to learn from her. As I am in the black forest for 10 days with very limited internet and my folks work everyday on their hotel and restaurants, I need to fill my days while pepa naps. Helena lent us 2 bonnets in Oslo during this xmas and I loved how they looked on Pepa. You can by them online, but takes weeks to wait for them, they are very expensive and I thought I might be able to sew them on my own. So I started searching the internet for patterns but without sucess :( So I decided to design my own Bonnet (with some help of my mom)! It took two days to design and sew it but I think I made it. I will be making a blogpost once I am balck in berlin on how to sew a bonnet including the pattern. If you could, what would you sew for your baby/kid? which kind of patterns would you like to have an learn?

AuthorI'm Andrea - a food enthusiast and blogger. Recently I noticed I have been answering a lot of questions about what I buy for my daughter Pepa, or what are my thoughts in certain "mom stuff". This is how I realised I should start a blog about being mom.. Or "Mom" like me! I hope to share my thoughts, amazing, things I buy and amazing recipes with other moms, just like me! Archives
